Read more ADA Urges FTC Healthcare Task Force To Scrutinize Dental Insurance Markets, Improve Transparency The American Dental Association is formally urging the Federal Trade Commission's newly formed Healthcare Task Force to investigate anti-competitive practices and market concentration within dental insurance networks. Highlighting that the top three insurers control up to 90% of the market in several states, the ADA raised concerns over 'take-it-or-leave-it' provider contracts, opaque network leasing arrangements, and narrow patient networks.
